Samsung has announced the company's 2nd-gen Galaxy Tab S tablets back in July this year. This Korean smartphone OEM has unveiled the 8.4 and 9.7-inch variants of the device, and they've also brought those devices to IFA in Berlin in order for people / media to check it out. The 9.7-inch variant of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 will be coming to U.S. Cellular soon (only the 4G LTE variant of the tablet)U.S. Cellular: Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Coming September 11th. The carrier has released an official statement on their webpage saying that the tablet will be available starting from September 11th. You can get it for $0 if you opt to pay $27.50 a month for the next 24 months. You can, of course, also pay its full price at once, which is always an option. The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 sports a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and either 32 or 64GB of expandable internal storage (depending on which variant you get). The tablet is powered by Samsung's Exynos 5433 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 1.9GHz along with a Mali-T760 MP6 GPU. The 8-megapixel shooter is available on the back of this thing, and a 2.1-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this tablet with Samsung's TouchWiz UI available on top of Google's OS, of course. The tablet also sports a physical button below the display which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, and as you can see, it also has two capacitive buttons flanking the home button. The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 measures 237.3 x 169 x 5.6mm, while it weighs 389 grams (Wi-Fi variant) and 392 grams (LTE variant).
