Two telecommunication companies, Vodafone and Globacom, have announced a new non-equity partnership agreement tagged, “Partner Market” to enable them to further penetrate local markets in Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
According to a statement on Friday by a Glo official, Jide Awe, under the agreement, Vodafone and Globacom will work together to boost the experience of their consumers and business customers who utilise their wide range of mobile, voice and data products.
The statement quoted Glo’s Group Executive Director, Mrs. Bella Disu, as saying that the partnership was in line with the company’s tradition of partnering with global leaders to avail consumers of the best telecommunications services.
Also, Vodafone Partner Markets Chief Executive, Stefano Gastaut, said the partnership would help to deliver enhanced roaming benefits for Glo’s consumer and multinational corporate customers.
According to the statement, British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Paul Arkwright, expressed optimism that the partnership would be fruitful for both parties.
Meanwhile, Globacom has said the remaining 21 dancers in its dance reality show, Dance with Peter, will, this week, compete by re-enacting the dance steps of the late Michael Jackson.
A statement by the company on Friday said Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, would join Peter Okoye, Kaffy and Don Flexx as the guest judge.
It added that Flavour would interact with the contestants, share his personal experience in the showbiz with them and offer tips on how they could become successful entertainers after the reality show.
