The Yahoo CEO announced on Thursday that she has given birth to identical twin girls."Zack and I are excited to announce that our identical twin girls were born early this morning," Mayer wrote on Twitter, referring to her husband, Zachary Bogue. "Our whole family is doing great!"
The announcement comes a day after Yahoo said it would spin off it] s core Internet advertising and products business, instead of going forward with a plan to spin off its stake in the Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba, worth around $30 billion.
Mayer said she didn’t plan to take a long maternity leave. Her approach to the pregnancy and delivery will be “taking limited time away and working throughout,” she said in September.
